Dash through the snow this holiday season and join us...
December 4th Bridging Hope will host a Holiday Party
put together by friends of Bridging Hope, Richard and Bill. It will
also coincide with the monthly Art Walk Festival, which will showcase
pianist Tuan Cao. The Holiday Art Sale will focus on artwork donated by
Provide-n-ce and local artists.

Bridging Hope’s Vietnamese
Art and Cultural Event Success!

The Saint Joan of Arc auditorium was filled
September 19th for the Annual Bridging Hope 501(c)(3) Art and Cultural
Event to raise money to provide assistance to indigent, ill,
disadvantaged and disabled women and children in Viet Nam. The event
raises money through donations as well as an action packed Silent
Auction, which was an absolute success for winners and bidders alike!
More than 50 artworks were collected and donated from community members
and local artists. The auction alone raised over $5,000. Sen Nguyen was
overwhelmed with the positive response from the community, including
offers of sponsorship from King Soopers, Safeway, Lehrer’s Flowers,
Viet’s Restaurant, Heartland Network for Social Research, and Marycrest
Sisters of St. Francis. The event also included two traditional
performances by youth dancers that received exceptional praise from the
audience and several heartfelt readings by Bridging Hope board members.
There were also musical performances by eight-year-old violist Hannah
Thuy Evans, with piano accompaniment by Tuan Cao.

The fundraiser was lovely. It seemed a good turnout. All of the entertainment was wonderful, as was the food. ~ Jan

Your Fundraiser in September was the right combination of excellent
food and entertainment. It was so reassuring to have the very young
Vietnamese violinist be the living proof of what happens when love
reaches out beyond the borders to pluck a beautiful budding flower and
transplant it to fertile ground. For me this was the most powerful
symbol of the work your Bridging Hope does in a
larger scale. All in all, the mix of dancers and the power point
slides of your work in Viet Nam helped weave a close-knit tapestry of
understanding and awareness of the need to continue to help your
community of children and women in Viet Nam. The silent auction was
also a success, I thought. ~ Carmen

If
you could not attend the event, but would like to make a donation to
support our mission and the ongoing programs Bridging Hope supports,
